Turku Eagles Rugby Football Club was founded in 2002 in the west coast of Finland by few persistent expats and few crazy finnish blokes. Currently we are an enthusiastic rugby club of almost 100 members. We are devoted to our sport and club, and proud of what we are doing. We respect and value the core principles of rugby and cherish the rare and soothing combination of Finnish culture and rugby life style.

Teams

Currently we have active men’s team ”Eagles” and ladies team ”Swans”. Both teams are warmly welcoming all brave rookies and old rugby lovers to join us! Teams train almost around the year, usually 2-3 times per week. If you are interested in joining either team, just email the team managers to get more info.

Juniors

We work hard for junior activities by visiting schools and running rugby classes for the students and attending various youth sports events around the year. We do not have an active junior team at the moment, but we have bright plans for it in the future.

Season structure

Both teams are active around the year: In summer we play XV’s in Finnish Championship league and on winter and spring time we attend the 7s series tournaments.
